Why are so many schools run by a Kakistocracy? (2)
Our system requires that anyone who runs for office find big campaign donors, because candidates need lots of money for TV ads. Political races are getting more expensive all the time. Local developers are tiny termites compared to the big praying mantisses of Halliburton, Blackwater, and Titan Corporation, but all these companies buy access to the deep pockets of the American taxpayer. The only solution for this problem is to take money out of the campaigns. We need full public financing of campaigns.
