DON’T BLAME TEACHERS UNIONS FOR OUR FAILING SCHOOLS

WELL, OKAY, I GUESS YOU CAN BLAME THEM.

How about giving them a nice round 50% of the blame?

I think teachers unions definitely deserve some (but not all) the blame for our failing schools. I have personally seen the teachers union work hand-in-glove with corrupt administrators and board members to destroy a school for political reasons. The trigger was a teachers union election, the 2001 election at Chula Vista Educators. Gina Boyd was afraid that someone might challenge her for the presidency, so she went along with rogue teachers at Castle Park Elementary who were determined to have control of the school at any cost to students.
