Retired Navy Admiral José Betancourt, SDUSD's CAO, pleaded guilty to an ethics violation recently, for his involvement in a Navy contract soon after he retired.
That doesn't seem to bother board member Katherine Nakamura.
But board member Mitz Lee says, "We are very hard on ethics, good judgment and being honest, open and forthright."
